Lakme ABSOLUTE Illuminating foundation Review.

Hey beauties.!! 

As you know that Maybelline Fit Me! Foundation was not the perfect one for me because it's more suitable for beauties with normal to oily skin and I have very very dry skin :( 
Lakme has launched some amazing new products from thier Illuminating Range. I was very excited to try thier Illuminating foundation and as soon as it came in the market , I immediately bought it.
Let's move on to the review :)

The Lakme Absolute Illuminating foundation comes in a black cardboard box and looks stylish. Everything is written on the box except one of the most important things..yes The INGREDIENTS are missing :/

So the bottle itself is glossy and looks very attractive and it looks exactly like the "Lakme Absolute White Intense Skin Cover" Foundation, so check the name of the foundation while purchasing it just to make sure that you're getting the right product. It comes with a regular pump to dispense the right amount of product needed.

The consistency of this foundation feels runny when you dispense it but blends very easily into the skin. It doesn't feel heavy on the face and gives medium coverage which won't be hiding very dark circles or spots , you'll need a concealer / corrector to cover them up. The special thing about this foundation is that it's "Illuminating" and gives your face a beautiful glow . You don't need a highlighter as this foundation will do this for you. It has a very little amount of shimmer which cannot be seen easily and is enough to give you that illuminating glow without much effort or visible shimmer on your face, which is a good thing. It stays for almost 7 to 8 hours. If you have dry skin like me, moisturise your face before the application. It is suitable for all skin types and beauties with oily skin can also use it as it settles well on the skin.

Lakmé has launched this foundation in 4 shades :
▪ Ivory Glow
▪ Natural Flare
▪ Biege Glimmer
▪ Honey Beam

Only the shade Ivory Glow has pink tone in it while the other three are for yellow toned skin. The shade range is nice and I wish they will soon introduce their products with some more deeper shades in future. 

I really liked this Foundation because it Brighten up my skin with that perfect glow and feels like your own natural skin, feels very light on the skin. It's a good foundation for evening functions. You can also use it on your foundation to give your face that extra glow with coverage. It is not advisable to layer up this foundation. I would definitely recommend this foundation because it worth a try if you find the right shade :)

As I have bought it online , I ordered the shade 01 Nude which I thought would suit my skin but unfortunately it didn't . In fact it is the darkest shade in this range but it's not too dark.
It comes in a cute little tube with a squeezy nozzle. It looks pretty and can easily adjust in your Bag or Purse without taking much space so it's travel friendly too.

Coming to its texture , it's neither too thick nor too runny. It blends well into your skin. It feels light on the skin and feels smooth. It does even out you skin colour. I was a bit nervous while giving it a try as I thought it won't suit my skin but as soon as I applied it, it transforms into my skin colour looking all natural without leaving any white cast on my face.

It's great for daily use and also contains SPF 21. It lasts for about 3-4 hours easily. It will suit all skin types but beauties with dry skin  like me , needs to moisturise well before applying it. It has pleasant  smell which fades away after some time and I don't think would bother anyone.

It's a decent product and worth your money if you get the correct shade. Though I wish it would have come with some more shades. If you want to try a bb Cream then give this one a try.

Maybelline Fit Me! Matte+Poreless Foundation and Concealer Review.

Hey everyone..!!

Maybelline India has launched their Fit Me! range along with the compact, concealer and Blushes earlier this year. So after hearing a lot of positive comments about it online, I bought the Maybelline Fit Me! Matte + Poreless foundation along with its concealer.

The foundation comes in a glass bottle which looks classy but unfortunately it doesn't have a pump, it has a plastic screw cap which creates quite a mess while pouring out the product and even leads to product's wastage sometimes but once you get used to it, it isn't a big problem.

          : Rs.500/- (Concealer)

Now, the foundation's consistency is a little thick. It is blend-able. It gives medium coverage and is build-able. It gives a natural smooth finish. It starts oxidizing after 4-5 hours.
The bad thing is that this foundation was a really bad experience for me because I have dry skin and It looked horrible on my face, I don't know why but I was really shocked as well as disappointed.
This foundation is best for people with oily skin. This foundation is available in 6 shades in India which is great. I will try their Dewy+Smooth Foundation  as it is good for dry skin :)


Now, moving on to the concealer. The Maybelline Fit Me! Concealer comes in a tube packaging and it has a wand applicator.

It's consistency is neither too runny nor too thick and blends really well. It gives nice coverage but won't cover very dark circles. But it is great for daily wear. It feels really smooth on the skin. Unlike the foundation it is available in only 3 shades.

I would recommend this Foundation to my beauties with oily skin.

I love long, curled and voluminous lashes.

So,Today I'm going to review my all time favourite mascara which is by maybelline and it is our Maybelline New York The Falsies Volum' Express mascara. It comes in a plastic purple tube. It looks very cute.

This mascara comes in a waterproof variant as well non - waterproof. The waterproof one is really waterproof , like REALLY , it doesn't get removed easily . You need to massage a little bit of oil in order to remove it gently without pulling or breaking your eyelashes.

This mascara has a great formula , not too thick or too runny , just perfect for your eyelashes  and it gives your eyelashes a lot of volume and length. It's wand is slightly curve which help to lift your lashes and curl them . The curved shape ensures that all of your eyelashes are covered by the mascara. 
It actually gives your eyelashes that false eyelashes look. I LOVE this mascara. It clumps a little but if you remove the excess mascara with a napkin before applying your mascara , it won't clump. I have bought the Waterproof one because it stays for long and hold you curled eyelashes well. If you prefer washable mascara then you can buy the Non - waterproof one . 

Well , I would definitely recommend this mascara . I still haven't find anything better than this under Rs.500 / -

Review : Lakme ABSOLUTE Gloss Artist Eyeliner.

Hey everyone.!! Today I'm going to review an eyeliner from Lakmé . It's the "Lakme Absolute Gloss Artist Eyeliner". It comes in a simple black plastic bottle which looks quite classy .

Price : Rs.600 / -

The formula is runny and dries up in seconds which is an advantage because you can also apply it if you're in a hurry. It is super black and gives a glossy finish.

The  applicator is of just right size and you can easily apply your eyeliner with this applicator . It is not harsh on the eyelid. The tip of the applicator is really sharp which is just perfect for that winged eyeliner. You can easily apply your eyeliner without much efforts.

The eyeliner stays for almost 7 to 8 hours without fading. It is water proof and can be removed with an eye makeup remover easily. It doesn't smudge easily which is a great thing for people with oily lids.It is easily available in the Indian market and It's a little bit expensive.
It is my favourite eyeliner and I love how it make the eyes look glamorous with its glossy finish. If you like your eyeliner matte then this is not for you. Overall I love this eyeliner and would definitely recommend it.
